Paediatric Physiotherapy
We provide Physiotherapy to support children with musculoskeletal conditions due to injury, movement disorders, disability or illness to help develop their movement skills and reach their full potential.
We work with children ages from 7 years old and above, whilst also supporting their parents/carers and teachers to maximise the child’s independence and increased involvement at home, school, and in their community sport.
Adult Physiotherapy
A physiotherapist will perform a detailed assessment and diagnose the cause of your problem and discuss with you how to improve your symptoms. This enables us to use a multi-model "hands-on" approach that can include treatments such as soft tissue massage, spinal manipulations, acupuncture and joint mobilisations.
We at JW Physio Clinic consider the body as a whole, rather than just focusing on the individual aspects of an injury or illness. This enables us to find the root cause of the problem.
Sports Injury Diagnosis
We are the specialists in sports injuries; our team has worked at the highest levels of international and professional sport.
Our assessment and diagnostic skills are first class, ensuring you are back at the top of your game in the peak of fitness. We always ensure we address the cause and rehabilitate you to full recovery.
Injury can also occur from simply putting the body under too much strain before it has developed the strength to tolerate it, for example trying to run too far too soon.
By addressing these through our prevention strategies, we can also reduce your risk of injury in the future, particularly if you are about to take up a new sport or type of exercise.
Workplace Injury Diagnosis
The most common work related injuries are caused by either long periods of sitting with poor posture and insufficient breaks or on the other hand repetitive heavy lifting. These conditions may include; neck pain, lower back pain, repetitive strain jury and poor posture.
We offer various treatments to overcome these injuries and prevent you from having to take time off work or work with pain and impaired performance.
We also offer you support with workplace injury rehabilitation, work station advice and prevention ergonomic advice.
Imaging Pathway
JW Physio Clinic will provide you with the expertise you require and support you on your journey to recovery.
On the occasion when a further review is needed such as an orthopaedic consultant or specialist, we will guide you through the process.
Additionally, scan imaging (MRI's or x-rays) may be required via your GP or private healthcare whereby we will refer you and also review the finding results, further supporting your care needs to full recovery.
