John Winters

Owner & Specialist Physiotherapist

John is one of the most sought after specialist practitioners in Essex and East London. John has worked extensively within the NHS, Military, Medico-Legal and Professional Sport.

 

John has always been driven by further enhancing his knowledge and achieving outstanding results with patients, hence being nominated for numerous awards.

​

John, in addition to his honours degree, has two masters degrees and is also is among a select group of physiotherapists who can diagnostic ultrasound scans of soft tissue, joints, and nerves, helping to confirm accurate diagnosis. He is also a medico-legal expert for trauma and injury assessment.

​

John is a biomechanical specialist who helps many patients in recovery from complex conditions but also from required surgical intervention . Additionally, some of the best sporting athletes and high profile celebrities in the United Kingdom and globally who fly in, come to see John.

​

John in his own time loves running and boxing , while also the outdoors with his family, especially his children. He has a passion for supporting the local community and sponsoring youth sports teams.

Jake Peters

Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Jake is a senior specialist who has worked within different specialist areas of NHS,  private healthcare and Elite Sport.

​​

​Jake has applied his range of experience and knowledge in helping patients recover from conditions such as stroke, spinal injuries and complex surgical interventions. He also has extensive experience working with elderly patients and falls prevention, in achieving their independent function  and  better quality of life.

 

Jake has been leading our injury rehabilitation service for the past 2 years in our specialist rehabilitation centre. He has surpassed many patients expectations, enabling patients to progress out of chronic pain and greater pain-free movement.

Through his strength and conditioning background he also has a great passion in helping our high level sports athletes complete successful recovery, to return to their competitive sports or marathons.

​Jake in his own time enjoys djing, travelling and is also a keen swimmer with lifeguard and swimming instructor qualifications.

Alec is a senior specialist having worked in a range of  specialist areas of surgical, inpatient and urgent outpatients.

​His skill-set enabled him to progress into a successful career within private practice. 

​

Alec has a special interest in tendinopathy and lower limb injuries with complexity. Alec has helped a significant range of active people ,after injury, to return to their lifestyle or sport in a less than expected time-frame. 

​

He achieves outstanding results thorough his assessment techniques and employs comprehensive rehabilitation strategies including exercise and manual therapy, patient education and empowerment, and appropriate self-management.​

 

He is also a well known clinical mentor, helping to support physiotherapists in the country to develop their skill set and experience as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist.

Lucky is an experienced, fellowship trained Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer. He specialises in all aspects of F&A care including complex trauma, deformity correction, minimally invasive surgery and sports injuries. He has a particular interest in ankle arthritis and total ankle replacement.

Lucky is an important advisory to the JW Physio Clinic Team whereby we can avail of further expertise to support our patients with complex lower limb injuries or requiring surgical review.

Dr Craig Rosenbloom is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine who works within the NHS (Barts Health), in private practice, and in elite sports.

Craig is an excellent advisory to JW Physio Clinic as he is greatly passionate about musculoskeletal medicine and managing patients with a strong focus on non-operative care. and physiotherapy rehabilitation.  He believes in the importance of physical activity, and helping patients return to the activities that they enjoy in a quick and safe manner. If we require further patient review such as bloods, MRI imaging or injections we have a successful patient referral pathway to see Craig.

Mr Deepu Sethi is an experienced specialist Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon who’s practice deals exclusively with all problems related to the knee, with a specialist sub-specialty interest in sports injuries as well as knee arthritis and the degenerative knee.

Craig is an excellent advisory to JW Physio Clinic as he is greatly passionate about musculoskeletal medicine and a strong focus on physiotherapy rehabilitation with particular expertise in sports injuries, complex ligament repair / reconstruction and meniscal surgery and repair.

Joe is an advisory to the  JW Physio Clinic Team providing further support in our management of patients that involves medication, health conditions and pain management which may affect their injury rehabilitation.

In his own specific role within the NHS he helps patients understand and manage their own health effectively. 

​

In the NHS he leads initiatives to promote health and prevent disease such as chronic illnesses to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. Additionally, supports patients preparing for endurance events, including training advice and post-event recovery plans​
